Hillside FREE Music Series to Showcase New Talent and Legendary Performers

Every year, the A.B. Cantu Pan-American Recreation Center, in conjunction with Austin Parks & Recreation and the City of Austin, presents a month of weekly family-friendly FREE outdoor concerts featuring a variety of Latin music, from Mariachi to Latin Hip-Hop to Tejano and Conjunto.

All these shows are free and family-friendly. Bring your coolers, lawn chairs and blankets. No glass, please!

This year’s lineup is as follows:

Tuesday, July 3rd – Tejano Idol & Nash Hernandez Orquesta

Don’t miss the kick off the music series with a glimpse of the future of Tejano and a performance by one of the biggest orquestas ever!
7PM – Tejano Idol – The Austin Tejano Music Coalition‘s search for the next Tejano music stars.
8:15PM -Nash Hernandez Orchestra

Tuesday, July 10th – Cinco Doce – Miranda Gil – Trampia

Cumbias, Urban Tejano and maybe a little Latin Hip-Hop too.
